Security Alarm Back-to-base 24/7 Monitoring
Next to having on-site security personnel, security alarm monitoring (back-to-base) provides the best protection. We are licenced and able to set-up a monitoring account with an external provider for you at a reasonable monthly rate. We don’t believe in locking our customers into long-term monitoring contracts.
When we install a monitored alarm system, we recommend only monitoring centres that meets the stringent security industry’s A1 Grade security requirements. These monitoring centres act on system data on a 24/7 basis.
Alarm events aren’t limited to intrusion events. They can also include: open/closing reports (ideal for businesses), panic and duress reports, smoke or medical reports, as well as critical system conditions, such as low battery.
Patrols
If there is a suspected incident, the alarm monitoring centre will offer to send a patrol car out to your premises (extra costs do apply). If there’s a suspected incident Victoria Police will only respond if there’s confirmation of a key-holder onsite.
GPRS
In most cases we recommend a 4G Permaconn GPRS set-up to communicate with the monitoring centre. As the name suggests, Permaconn provides a nearly permanent connection to the monitoring centre. This is a great option for NBN clients.
Pocket Secure
Permaconn’s Pocket Secure app is a smartphone app that lets you take control of your alarm system while you are away from your home or office. Â We are able to set-up this app for customers using a Permaconn GPRS with back-to-base monitoring.
